Back in 2008, a small group of members of Christ's United Lutheran Church, who were concerned about the food insecurities of residents of Union County PA, started a small food bank. We had the use one small storage room and no freezer or refrigeration.  We packed approximately 15 bags of food containing  10 - 15 items that were distributed weekly.  Over the years, we have increased storage areas and added refrigeration and freezers.  The distributions have increased in both the amount of food given and the number of families served.
